About Us

About Us

Barolo Investment Partners was established in November 2020 after many years of discussing investment philosophy between the three Directors, Steve, Greg and Jamie. Through these talks it became evident that we share similar thoughts on what constitutes a good investment. The alignment between all three Directors ensures we never have to put an investment decision to the vote. Combined with each Director holding over 30 years of business, investment and company ownership, our experience and team ethos guide us through the investment landscape.

The Story Behind Barolo

Thriving in the rolling Langhe hills of Piedmont in Northern Italy, the Nebbiolo Grape is the foundation ingredient of Barolo; a powerful, full-bodied red wine. The vines have extraordinary complexity and structure, raising Barolo’s profile to be among the most age-worthy of any wines.

Further distinguishing itself from other Italian reds, Barolo impressed 18th-century royalty and became known as “the wine of kings”, eventually evolving to “the king of wines”.

As a powerful, full-bodied red wine, high in both tannin and acidity, Barolo prospers after years of aging before it is ready to drink.

Aligning with our namesake, Barolo Investment Partners takes pride in ensuring we pick the best investments, whilst structuring the deal to maximise returns for our shareholders.

These high conviction investments will take time to nurture, grow and smooth out the rough edges, ultimately flourishing to produce an outstanding return.
